Kentex S526M
Specialized in niche watches, Kentex produced a limited series of 100 highly antimagnetic watches bearing an amusingly strong resemblance to the Girard-Perregaux Laureato.

The S526M uses titanium which, as a non-ferrous metal, is already amagnetic and doesn’t interfere with the Faraday Cage shielding of 64,000 A/m. With screw-down crown and back, it houses the ubiquitous Swiss ETA 2824-2 and the hands and indexes feature self-luminous tritium vials. The dial bears the marking “Swiss Automatic” because the watch were not assembled in Switzerland. Still, the retail price of 480€ in Japan helped sell the 100 pieces like hot cakes.
