Improved bezel design from Resco Instruments

"If you want something done right, do it yourself" goes the saying. So to ensure that his watches are assembled with the best precision, United States SEAL instructor R.E. Smith is sourcing all the components of his first collection the Patriot, instead of buying assembled watches from a private label company.

Field testing outlined the need to re-design the bezel: "I was getting feedback on the initial bezel design from some of the guys that had helped out with the field testing and they all agreed that the bezel was prone to jamming with grit and hard to turn. It also lacked the grip to turn while muddy or slick. So I went back to the drawing board and fixed the issue. As you will see from the pictures, the bezel is more user friendly and it still looks good."

The dents around the bezel have been made wider and deeper, allowing for a better grip:
