BaselWorld 2012: Tudor’s interpretation of their famous Snowflake diver’s watch

Besides their vintage-inspired Heritage Black Bay, Rolex’es sister brand Tudor has been working on the Pelagos, a contemporary re-interpretation of their iconic 7016/0 and 7021/0 models from the late 1960’s.

It seems that Tudor developers have been keeping an eye on the custom watch community, because this contemporary model has everything to make the mose demanding diving watch enthusiast salivate:

  • Diameter 42 mm
  • Water-resistance to 50 bar
  • Corrosion-proof titanium alloy
  • Unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic ring and luminous markers
  • Helium gas release valve
  • Titanium bracelet with proprietary self adjusting mechanism for the buckle
