Hi. I am an independent craftsman that specialises in the making and restoration of antique pocketwatch cases. I have over 30 years of experiance in this field and over the years have worked or many types of case. Most of the work I do is for private collectors or antique dealers on caseless movments of high value. these are made in Gold or Silver or a combination of both often with repeating work. Im not sure if this is of interest on this site but please have a look at my website and let me know. Best regards. Adam Phillps.
Ladies & gentlemen I am building [with pro help] a watch from scratch. I once saw online some beautiful hands that were custom made. A watch had a “wavy” or serpent like seconds hand. [or perhaps it was a minute hand. I wish I had put that in my favorites.. Please someone tell me who can make these beautiful custom hands….
Regards,
Ben
I would like to bring to your attention two of the finest engravers and watch craftsmen working today. Both are too little know.
Like Joachim Benzinger they are very qualified watchmakers–they have to be to do what they do.
Andrew may well be one of the very best engravers working today. His web site is at
http://www.andrewvorontsov.com/
I believe your readers really would like to know about him. Little of his work travels out of Russia anymore as demand is pretty strong for his work in russia.
Another person worth looking up is Gianni Liverani. As well as being a very accomplished jeweler, he’s also a watch maker and engraver. Some of his work is highly interesting and he has a watch called “Galileo” that he has even taken out a patent on.
His home page is at

Hope you can feature them both.
Best Regards,
Barko
Are you looking for something really special? I was. I have been desinging and developing watches since. I have develloped the machines to cnc and learned to program them from 3d-cad to cnc.
The result can be seen on http://www.watchid.nl and there will be more in the years to come.
I want to share the possibility to create a unique watch for yourself or your relatives.
Enjoy and tell me your ideas!
Johan

custom designed watches
Hi Pancho
We run a site called http://www.bobswatches.com and are looking to create and build our own brand of watches. Can you possibly guide me in the right direction on who i can talk to with respect to movements, case, and dials?
thanks,
Well, I’m not a designer but will love to do. I developed an interest in timepieces right from my childhood days. I can rarely go out without having my wristwatch on my hand. Do you think I’m addicted? Yes, you may be right. This is the fuel behind the creation of my blog https://bestwatchselect.com to share my love of watches with like-minded people.
Kindly check what I have up there. Love you
